The Wise Men’s Offerings. Oil on Canvas. 128.9 x 58.4 cms (50.7 x 23 ins). A cartoon painted for a window in St. George’s Chapel Windsor, installed in 1796. From 1779 to 1801 West became involved with the large-scale restoration of this Chapel, and windows were installed in the quire aisles. The designs were drawn up by West, with the glass painted by Charles Forrest. The window has since been removed and the whereabouts of the glass is unknown. The current location of this cartoon is unknown.
