For the window for St. George’s Chapel, Windsor which was installed in 1796. From 1779 to 1801 West was engaged in George III’s many alterations to Windsor Castle, and became involved with the large-scale restoration of St George’s Chapel. As part of the restoration project windows were installed in the Quire Aisles detailing the story of Christ’s birth, showing the angels appearing to the shepherds, the Nativity, and the adoration of the Magi. The designs were drawn up by West, with the glass painted by Charles Forrest. The window has since been removed and the whereabouts of the glass is unknown.
